FM Organizes Cairo-Hosted OIC Emergency Ministerial Meeting

Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty has been actively engaging with foreign ministers from several member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), including those from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, and Jordan, to address recent developments related to the Palestinian issue.

According to State Information Service Egypt, these communications have led to a preliminary agreement to hold an emergency OIC ministerial meeting in Cairo. This meeting is scheduled to follow the Emergency Arab Summit, which will be hosted in the Egyptian capital on February 27. The purpose of these gatherings is to solidify the Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic stances on the Palestinian cause, with a focus on underlining the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, especially their rights to self-determination and to reside in their homeland.
