Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has ordered the Egyptian Embassy in Kyiv to offer full care to an Egyptian national who was injured in Kharkov, Ukraine’s second-largest city.
The assistant foreign minister for consular affairs received the family of Mohamed Saad Ragab Mohamed Zayed, who was injured in Ukraine, the ministry said in a statement.
Shoukry also directed the embassy to maintain continuous efforts around the clock to provide necessary support to all Egyptians residing in Ukraine, as well as continuing close coordination with embassies in Ukraine’s neighboring countries, which has already resulted in the passage of many Egyptian citizens to the Ukrainian borders towards those countries, it added.
Protecting Egyptians abroad is a top priority, the ministry stressed.
