Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Sunday held a talks session with European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell in Luxembourg.

“Shoukry met with Borrell before starting the 9th meeting of the EU-Egypt Association Council, in the context of the strategic nature and importance of the partnership between the two sides”, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez tweeted following the meeting.

The Association Council will endorse the new EU-Egypt partnership priorities document until 2027, which will guide the partnership between both parties.
