Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, had a phone call on Wednesday to follow-up on efforts to stop the war (on Gaza) and ensure the protection of civilians. Safadi called for stopping the war and the dangerous deterioration in Gaza, underlining the need to end this human tragedy, which, if it continues, will push the entire region into the abyss. Talks focused on the need to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
