FM Engages with Egyptian Community in Oman Through Virtual Meeting.


Muscat: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty held a virtual meeting with members of the Egyptian community in Oman on Sunday, 1st December 2024. This meeting was part of a series of regular engagements organized by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Ambassador Nabil Habashi, aimed at maintaining strong ties with Egyptians abroad.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty expressed his appreciation for the significant role the Egyptian community in Oman plays in enhancing the bilateral relations between Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman. He highlighted the historical ties that have long existed between the two nations and praised the community’s efforts in fostering these relations.

The meeting underscored the importance of the Egyptian diaspora in Oman in promoting mutual understanding and collaboration between the two countries. Such virtual meetings are integral to addressing the concerns of expatriates
and strengthening diplomatic relations on a people-to-people level.
