UAE: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty emphasized Egypt’s commitment to boosting its relations with Latvia and maintaining regular political consultations to coordinate positions on bilateral and multilateral levels. Meeting with his Latvian counterpart Baiba Braže, he highlighted the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation to broader horizons. The meeting was held Saturday on the sidelines of the Sir Bani Yas Forum in the UAE.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty expressed Egypt’s interest in enhancing mutual trade between the two nations. The ministers also discussed recent developments in Egypt-EU relations within the framework of their strategic and comprehensive partnership, as well as exchanging views on regional and international issues of common concern.
