FM Discusses Over Phone with Syrian Counterpart Latest Developments in Idlib, Aleppo.


Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty discussed over phone with Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic Bassam Sabbagh the latest developments in northern Syria, particularly Idlib and Aleppo. Abdelatty expressed his concern over the ongoing situation, emphasizing Egypt’s commitment to supporting Syria’s national institutions and contributing to regional stability.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty was briefed by Sabbagh on the recent consecutive developments affecting northern Syria. This conversation highlights Egypt’s ongoing diplomatic engagement with Syria, reflecting a shared interest in combating terrorism and maintaining stability in the region.
