Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty made a telephone conversation on Saturday 12/10/2024 with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani as part of joint coordination and regular consultation between the two countries.

The contact dealt with the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and recent updates in Lebanon.

The two ministers discussed joint efforts exerted by countries to reach a ceasefire in Gaza, release hostages and ensure an unconditional delivery of humanitarian and relief assistance into the strip.

They also tackled Egyptian efforts to achieve Palestinian reconciliation.

The contact took up as well dangerous conditions in Lebanon in the shadow of Israel’s never-ceasing aggression.

Abdelatty and his Qatari counterpart underlined the importance of coordinating regional and international efforts to maintain the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Lebanese people.

They agreed on the necessity of maint
aining the unity, sovereignty and safety of Lebanon and the need of an Israeli withdrawal from all Lebanese territory.
