Five martyrs in an air strike on Tubas, and the occupation imposes a curfew

Tubas Ma’an – Five citizens were martyred at dawn on Wednesday, in an air strike carried out by Israeli occupation aircraft targeting a group of citizens near Al-Tawhid Mosque in the city of Tubas.

The Israeli army spokesman announced that large forces from the army, the Shin Bet and the Prison Service began operations during the night in the Tubas and Tammun areas, located within the Jordan Valley Brigade, against the armed infrastructure, as part of the ongoing operation in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews were able to retrieve the bodies of five martyrs from the bombing site, and they were transferred to the hospital, while the occupation forces continue to prevent ambulances from reaching the rest of the injured at the targeted site.

The martyrs as a result of the bombing in Tubas are:

Mohammed Saeed Hussein Sawafta (19 years old), Majd Burhan Jamil Sawafta (23 years old), Saeb Rateb Sawafta (24 years old), Yassin Ahmed Ali Sawafta (22 years old), and Talaba
Mahmoud Jamil Basharat (18 years old).

According to the official agency, the occupation forces surrounded the Tubas Turkish Governmental Hospital on the northern outskirts of the city, closed the roads leading to it and prevented ambulances from reaching the hospital. They also reinforced their military presence around the city, which led to an escalation of tension among the residents.
