Five dead, dozens injured in wildfires in Southeastern Turkey


ISTANBUL: Five people died and dozens were hurt in wildfires that broke out in several villages in Southeastern Turkey yesterday evening, Turkey’s Health Minister said on Friday.

“Five people died and 44 were injured, 10 seriously, when the blaze swept through two areas near the city of Mardin in Southeastern Turkey,” Health Minister Fahrettin Koca wrote on X platform.
