Financing agreement signed for KHCC’s chemotherapy treatment room in Aqaba

The Aqaba Port Marine Services Company (APMSCO) and the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) have entered into a financing agreement to set up a chemotherapy room at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in the southern city of Aqaba. This initiative is part of the center’s “Naming” program, which names wards and patient rooms after donors.

The deal was inked by APMSCO General Manager Dirk Wijnen, and KHCF’s Director General Nisreen Qatamesh.

Under the pact, the Company will fund the construction of a chemotherapy treatment room at the forthcoming KHCC in Aqaba. This center is set to provide medical support to cancer patients in the southern region and is anticipated to commence operations in the final quarter of 2024.
