Family of 4, including two disabled children, killed in an Israeli airstrike in Jabalia


GAZA: A devastating Israeli airstrike which targeted a home this evening in the town of Jabalia, northern Gaza, resulted in the killing of a man, his wife, and their two disabled children.

Reports indicate that the attack occurred in the al-Jarn neighborhood, specifically hitting the residence of the Al-Batsh family. Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with first responders struggling to reach the site amid ongoing airstrikes.

Meantime, rescue teams recovered the body of an unidentified victim from the Tel al-Hawa area in southern Gaza City.

Earlier today, three people were killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting the Abu Jarbu family home in the Nuseirat refugee camp, central Gaza, while two others lost their lives in a similar attack on a civilian vehicle and home belonging to the Anaba family in the al-Bureij refugee camp camp.

In Khan Younis, five Palestinians, including two children, were killed when Israeli forces bombed the al-Matari family home in the eastern part of the city.

Further atta
cks in the area resulted in additional fatalities, with two people killed in the Qizan Rashwan area and another in a strike on the al-Faris family home in the al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis.

In Rafah, two civilians were reported killed following an Israeli attack on a group of people in the al-Zuhur neighborhood, while a house belonging to the al-Bashiti family was also struck, though there were no immediate reports of injuries.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in 41,534 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 96,092 individuals sustaining injuries, the majority of whom are women and children.

Thousands more are feared dead under the rubble of destroyed structures across the war-torn enclave, with civil defense teams and emergency services unable to reach several areas due to safety concerns amid the indiscriminate Israeli attacks.
