COLOGNE: The Belgium national football team secured a 2-0 victory over Romania in their match on Saturday evening at RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne, Germany, as part of the second round of Group E in the UEFA European Championship, Euro 2024.
With this win, Belgium earned their first 3 points in the tournament. Despite the loss, Romania remains in the group standings with 3 points, having won their opening match.
Slovakia and Ukraine also have 3 points each, placing all four teams in Group E on equal footing as they advance to the next rounds of the competition.
