The Egyptian Travel Agents Association (ETTA) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) to activate bilateral cooperation in several fields and tourism activities, with special focus on Umrah (minor pilgrimage).
The MoU calls for offering the best services to the pilgrims during their pilgrimage in Makkah city, Saudi Arabia.
The memorandum was signed on the sidelines of the participation of the delegation representing ETTA in the third edition of the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition 2024, that was held in Jeddah city, Saudi Arabia.
The event, titled ‘A Passage to Nusuk” was organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program – one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
The deal is aiming to provide a general frame for promoting constant communication and cooperation between both sides, based on the establishment of an Egyptian portal for Umrah and the achievement of goals of the kingdom’s vision
2030.
