Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad said Egypt is keen on having a youth day during the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) which is due to be held in Sharm el Sheikh.

The move is meant to stand on youths visions and proposals, she said in an interview with the DMC satellite channel last Wednesday.

The United Nations has allocated several days ahead of the climate summit for youths to stand on their proposals concerning the issues due to be raised, she said, noting that a mini-climate conference is organized for youths ahead of the summit every year.
