DUBAI: The Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF) has officially launched the 8th cohort of its prestigious Leadership Development Program, held in partnership with Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
Thirty senior financial leaders from top institutions in the UAE and GCC are set to participate in the eight-day programme, taking place from 16th to 25th September 2024.
The participants represent leading financial organisations including the Central Bank of the UAE, National Bank of Fujairah, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Emirates NBD, First Abu Dhabi Bank, and HSBC Bank Middle East. Additionally, Bahraini representatives from Bank ABC, Bahrain Islamic Bank, and National Bank of Bahrain, attending through the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), are part of this selected cohort.
This programme, recognised for its focus on Strategic, Personal, and Organisational Leadership, is designed to empower financial executives with the necessary skills to navigate the disruptions reshaping the finan
cial industry. Topics such as leadership in the face of market volatility, driving organisational transformation, and developing winning strategies are central themes.
Noura Al Blooshi, General Manager of EIF, welcomed this distinguished group of leaders to the programme. She highlighted that this investment in national talent is a strategic move toward shaping the future of the financial sector. She added, ‘We are confident that these leaders will drive innovation and growth, solidifying the UAE’s reputation as a global financial hub.”
