ABU DHABI: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), the 3rd round of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup is set to take place in Scottsdale, Arizona between 28-30 March in conjunction with the 2024 Arabian Breeders World Cup, one of the most prestigious Arabian Horse Show events in the world since its inception in 1955.
The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup was launched September last year under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and close follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EAHS, and the inaugural edition of the tournament will include 10 rounds held in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Australia, South and North America, in coordination with the competent authorities in each country, with valuable cash prizes allocated for the fir
st 5 winners of each round.
The Scottsdale Championship, held in cooperation between EAHGC and ABWC, offers breeders from the USA, Canada, and Mexico an opportunity to compete and win worthy prizes, and its worth noting that Arabian Horse Shows in Scottsdale are quite prestigious and have been held since 1995.
These events helped in establishing the status of Arabian horses in the USA, as the Shows in Scottsdale are considered some of the best worldwide with the top studs competing in these events, and the state of Arizona hosts some important sporting events which attract thousands of fans and visitors annually from all over the world.
It is noteworthy that the first leg of the 2024 EAHGC was held last February in Australia through the 2024 Australasian International Arabian Championship, taking place over two days at Willinga Park in the Baulkham Hills area, while the second leg of the tournament was held in Manama, Bahrain from March 14-16.

This support is a continuation of the great legacy left behind by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and solidifies the position of the UAE as one of the main developers of equestrian sports worldwide, and Al Harbi pointed out that the cities hosting the various rounds of the event have been carefully selected to expand the scope of services and provide support to those interested in Arabian Horse Shows, and that the positive feedback and reactions to the Australian and Bahraini legs of the tournament were very encouraging and it brought worldwide attention shining a special light on the professionalism of organization and strength of the competition.
