Emigration Minister Nabila Makram hailed the efforts exerted by Misr El Kheir Foundation and its continued support for charity activities in coordination with her ministry.
She hailed the foundation’s quick response to humanitarian cases of Egyptians abroad.
In a statement on Saturday 30/07/2022, the minister said Egypt’s former mufti Ali Gomaa – the chairman of the foundation’s board of trustees – is an example to be followed for his great effort to support charity activities.
She referred to the foundation’s contribution to securing a medically equipped plane to transport an Egyptian child suffering from leukemia from the Saudi city of Abha to Egypt on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, Makram lauded the keenness of Acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar to provide a place for treating Yassin Hossam and provide an ambulance to transport him from the airport as he will arrive from Saudi Arabia, where he lays on ventilators in the intensive care unit in a hospital in Abha in the Saudi Aseer province, to Cairo on July 31.
This comes in response to an appeal by the parent of the kid to provide an ambulance plane to return him home to continue his treatment in Egypt, she said.
