Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Nabila Makram said on Sunday that the Egyptian community plays an effective role in Canada.
During a meeting with Assistant Deputy Minister of Operations at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Daniel Mills, the minister thanked the Canadian government for the support it offers to the Egyptian expats in Canada.
She also spoke about efforts made by her ministry, based on directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, to combat illegal migration #.
For his part, Mills said that the Egyptian community became an integral part of Canada.
He also lauded the great development projects Egypt witnesses under the leadership of President Sisi.
Mills welcomed cooperation with the ministry on regular migration in a way that helps reduce unemployment rates through honing the skills of Egyptian youths to help them work in Canada.
