Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affair Soha Gendy, received Ambassador Yvonne Baumann, Swiss Ambassador to Egypt to discuss ways to enhance cooperation on common files.

Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi Thursday 1/2/2024 said that ministry throughout the past period has been keen on dealing with the repercussion of global crises, armed-conflicts and natural crises resulting from the phenomenon of climate change and leading to more earthquakes and hurricanes, which led to the intervention of the Ministry of Immigration out of concern for the lives of the countrymen abroad who reside in Countries are suffering from these phenomena, as the crises of the Russian-Ukrainian war and Sudan, the earthquakes in Turkey, Syria and Morocco, Hurricane Daniel in Libya, and the war in Gaza were dealt with, in addition to individual crises and incidents of Egyptians abroad in which the ministry intervenes directly to solve it.
