Eight civilians killed, others injured in Israeli shelling of several areas in southern and central Gaza


GAZA: Eight civilians were killed and others were injured today in an Israeli occupation’s shelling targeting the cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah, as well as the Bureij refugee camp in the southern and central Gaza Strip, respectively.

Local sources reported that the Palestine Red Crescent teams recovered one body and two wounded people following the shelling of a house in the town of Bani Suheila east of Khan Yunis.

The Red Crescent teams also recovered the bodies of three civilians who were killed in an Israeli strike targeting the Shaboura refugee camp in the center of Rafah city.

Israeli warplanes bombarded a residential apartment in the Bureij camp in the central Strip, resulting in the killing of four civilians.

The Israeli occupation continued today its aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has so far resulted in the killing of 38,983 civilians, mostly women and children, and injury of 89,727 others.

Thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble and scattered on roads.
