EHA, Mindray Mull Ways to Strengthen Medical Cooperation


Cairo: The Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) and Mindray Medical International Limited have discussed ways to boost cooperation on localizing modern medical technology. Ahmed El Sobki, president of the EHA, met with senior officials of Mindray on the sidelines of their participation in the China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), hosted by China.

According to State Information Service Egypt, El Sobki emphasized the need to cement cooperation with global companies to localize modern medical technology. He noted that the authority is keen to utilize advanced technologies to offer better healthcare services under the universal health insurance system. Both parties explored new opportunities for digital transition, human capacity building, and the application of artificial intelligence.

Mindray officials expressed their eagerness to enhance healthcare cooperation with Egypt at various levels. Over the past four decades, CMEF has emerged as a global platform for medical and healthcare technology. It is
one of the world’s leading medical equipment exhibitions, showcasing innovations and solutions across the entire medical industry chain.
