Abu Dhabi: Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohamed Saleh el Din Moustafa traveled to the UAE on Sunday to participate in the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2025).

According to State Information Service Egypt, the minister emphasized the importance of the event as an opportunity to exchange expertise with global companies in the defense sector.

IDEX 2025 is set to convene leading global companies, decision-makers, and experts from the defense industry to present the latest technologies and solutions aimed at enhancing international peace and security. The minister’s participation follows an invitation from UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohamed ben Mubarak Al Mazrouei, highlighting the cooperative relationship between Egypt and the UAE in various domains.

The Ministry of Military Production will exhibit its range of products, including weapons, ammunition, equipment, and advanced defense systems. This marks the fifth time the ministry has participated in this signifi
cant global defense platform. During the event, the minister plans to meet with several company leaders and extend invitations for them to attend the Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX) scheduled for December.

IDEX 2025 carries the theme ‘Defense Reimagined: Innovation, Integration and Resilience’ and is organized under the patronage of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The event is hosted by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Council.
