Secretary General of the Egyptian Olympic Committee and President of Modern Pentathlon Federation Sharif el Erian emphasized that Egypt’s presence in the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games was strong, attractive and wonderful.
The Egyptian mission offered an amazing and fantastic presentation, Erian said in televised statements on Saturday 27/7/2024.
He added Egypt is participating in the Games with 148 male and female players.
The Egyptian players are now ready for the competitions in all Games, according to him.
The Paris Olympics kicked off with an extravagant opening ceremony on Friday night when an armada of boats carried 10,500 athletes along the Seine – the first outdoor version of the spectacle that was watched by a billion people.
