Egypt’s non-petroleum exports to France jumped by an unprecedented 60% in 2022, hitting €1.1 billion between January and November 2022, reaching €1.1 billion between January and November 2022, up from €673 billion for the same period the previous year, according to French statistics.
According to a report issued by the Egyptian commercial representation office in Paris on Sunday, Egypt’s major exports to France included fertilizers, chemicals, vehicle production materials, electronic devices, home appliances, preserved fruits, and ready-made clothing.
The report emphasized the commercial and economic representation office’s efforts to create numerous opportunities for Egyptian exports to France, including urea, food, and textile products, as well as marketing studies conducted by the office to identify market needs, which directly contributed to the unprecedented growth.
