The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE)’s Monetary Policy Committee has decided to keep overnight deposit rate, overnight lending rate, and the main operation rate unchanged at 11.25 percent, 12.25 percent, and 11.75 percent, respectively.

In a statement released on Thursday 18/8/2022, the CBE said the discount rate was also kept unchanged at 11.75 percent.
