The Youth and Sports Ministry organized on Friday a tourist tour in the Pyramids Plateau for the Russian and Egyptian delegations who are participating in the second edition of the Egyptian-Russian Youth Forum that kicked off on September 30.
The delegations expressed their admiration of the greatness of the pyramids and their magnificent way of building.
The forum, running till October 9, comes as a part of the year of the Egyptian-Russian Humanitarian Exchange, launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
The main goal of the forum will be to strengthen friendly and professional ties between young people and the relevant government bodies of the two countries.
The forum will create conditions for the preparation of joint projects by Russian and Egyptian youth, for discussing initiatives for the further development of youth cooperation between Russia and Egypt.
