Cairo: A number of Egyptian Parliament representatives stressed that recent the Egyptian movements and foreign tours of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during the past period have ‘blocked the path’ of the forced displacement plan, and have established a unified international position that supports the unity of the Palestinian territories and Egyptian national security.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the emergency Arab summit scheduled to be held on March 4 in Cairo will be a turning point in unifying the Arab position to confront current challenges. The summit is expected to convey an important message to the international community with a ‘unanimous Arab rejection’ of the displacement of Palestinians and its direct impact on liquidating the cause.

Representative al-Safi Abdel Aal, a member of the House of Representatives, emphasized the importance of the ‘Palestinian vision’ to be presented during the upcoming summit. This vision will focus on the reconstruction of Gaza and confronting the f

Abdel Aal highlighted that this vision is based on Egypt’s firm stance towards the Palestinian cause, noting that the Gaza reconstruction file will be a primary topic for discussion and approval during the summit, which comes at a crucial time for the Palestinian cause.

He affirmed his full support for the Palestinian political leadership in its efforts to rebuild the sector through legal and diplomatic avenues. Abdel Aal underscored the importance of developing a comprehensive reconstruction plan, in collaboration with Egypt and international organizations, such as the World Bank, the United Nations, and the European Union, to be presented to the Arab Summit for approval and activation of its implementation mechanisms.

clear message that Egypt will not allow the imposition of any solutions that undermine Palestinian rights.

Ishaq stated that the emergency Arab summit will be a pivotal moment in addressing the Palestinian issue, as Egypt plans to reveal a strategic vision for the reconstruction of Gaza, which enjoys broad Arab support. Ishaq highlighted Egypt’s proactive role in protecting Arab national security.

MP Mohamed El-Badry, member of the Senate Health Committee, remarked that President El-Sisi’s recent visit to Spain marked a new diplomatic success, reflecting Egypt’s regional and interna
tional influence. He noted that the signing of the strategic partnership declaration between Egypt and Spain enhances joint cooperation in various fields amidst the current regional challenges.

El-Badry explained that the meetings held by President Sisi in Madrid, particularly with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, conveyed strong and decisive messages about Egypt’s steadfast support for Palestinian rights and its rejection of any attempts to displace them, reiterating Egypt’s leadership in international efforts to protect the Palestinian cause.

He added that Egyptian initiatives led by President Sisi effectively thwarted the plan for the forced displacement of Palestinians, culminating in a fraternal summit in Saudi Arabia with Gulf leaders and Jordan.
