Athens: The Embassy of Egypt in Athens, Greece, has launched e-consular services that will be working round the clock to serve the Egyptian expats.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the e-consular services will enable users to learn about documents required to complete any consular transaction, including issuing and renewing passports, issuance of birth certificates, national IDs, and other consular services.

Through the system, expats will be able to follow up the stages of completing the consular transaction, its issuance date, and notify them to attend the consulate to receive their documents.

The move falls within the framework of continuous efforts to develop the consular system and to simplify procedures for the Egyptian community seeking different consular services.
