Cairo: Egyptian Chief of Military Staff Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa engaged in discussions with his Turkish counterpart, General Metin Grak, during an official visit by the Turkish delegation to Egypt. The visit, aimed at strengthening military ties, will last several days.
According to State Information Service Egypt, an official reception ceremony was held at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense, where military bands played the national anthems of Egypt and Turkey to welcome the Turkish General. During the meeting, both military leaders addressed various files and topics of mutual interest, focusing on enhancing military cooperation and exchanging expertise between the two nations’ armed forces.
Lieutenant General Khalifa emphasized the importance of the partnership and bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Turkey. He highlighted the need for coordinated efforts to achieve shared goals and support military collaboration, underscoring the commitment of both countries to deepen their mi
