Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli announced that the Egyptian government has developed a comprehensive plan for the early recovery and rebuilding of Gaza, ensuring there will be no displacement of Palestinians during the reconstruction process. This statement was made during a meeting with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa at the Cabinet’s headquarters, where they discussed the Gaza recovery plan to be presented at the upcoming Arab Summit.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting was attended by key figures, including Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty, Palestinian Minister of Planning Wael Zagout, and Palestinian Ambassador Diab Allouh. Madbouli emphasized Egypt’s steadfast support for the Palestinians and their rights, particularly the right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The Egyptian Prime Minister highlighted Egypt’s efforts to support the Palestinian cause, focusing on implementing the three-phased ceasefire agreement and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa expressed appreciation for Egypt’s support, particularly praising President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s dedication to Palestinian rights and the reconstruction initiatives in Gaza.
The meeting also explored coordination efforts between Egypt and Palestine to finalize the reconstruction plan ahead of the Arab summit. Discussions included collaboration with international humanitarian organizations to aid in Gaza’s recovery and reconstruction activities.
