Egyptian and Bahraini Foreign Ministers Discuss Middle East Conditions at UAE Forum.


ABU DHABI: Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Minister Badr Abdelatty on Friday, November 15, 2024, met with Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani to discuss the current conditions in the Middle East and explore ways to enhance bilateral relations. The meeting took place during the 15th Sir Bani Yas Forum held in the United Arab Emirates.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the two ministers expressed their satisfaction with the increasing development of relations between Egypt and Bahrain. They emphasized that these strong ties form a robust basis for continued coordination and consultation, which will help advance various areas of bilateral cooperation for the benefit of both nations.

During their discussions, Abdelatty and Alzayani exchanged views on the ongoing developments in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. They highlighted the urgency of achieving an immediate ceasefire and ensuring the unrestricted entry of humanitarian aid to address the needs of affected po
pulations. Additionally, both ministers underscored the importance of efforts to mitigate rising tensions in the region.
