National carrier EgyptAir announced Friday 12/7/2024 the launch of five new flight routes to the Emirati city of Fujairah, Ivorian capital Abidjan, Czech capital Prague, Somali capital Mogadishu, and Djibouti.

EgyptAir’s expansion is an endeavour to reach the largest global markets and attract new customers around the world by providing more travel options, EgyptAir wrote on Facebook today.

Twice-weekly flights are planned, on Sundays and Thursdays, to Fujairah. The airline will also fly to Abidjan three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

However, EgyptAir has not yet provided details on the weekly schedules for the flights to the three other new destinations – Prague, Mogadishu, and Djibouti.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Badr Abdelatty and Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh ElHefny as well as other officials joined EgyptAir’s inaugural flights to Djibouti and Mogadishu earlier today.
