Egypt has called for putting practical measures into force to confront the global economic crisis and encourage the private sector to increase production in the areas of food security.
Addressing the 113th session of the Arab Economic Unity Conference, Advisor to the Minister of International Cooperation Tarek Shaarawy urged the council to issue a detailed report on the opportunities and potentials of food investment in the Arab region.
Egypt is fully prepared to transfer its pioneering development experience under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during recent years to the Arab countries, he added.
The Egyptian political leadership’s vision obligates the bodies concerned to work on removing all obstacles hampering the development of cooperation among Arab countries, Shaarawy said.
