The initiative of integrated industrial partnership for sustainable economic development between Egypt, UAE and Jordan was launched in Abu Dhabi on Sunday in the presence of Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and ministers of the three states.
The initiative is meant to promote industrial integration among the three countries and serve development goals.
On Saturday, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed ben Zayed Al Nahayan received Madbouli and Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher Al Khasawneh on the occasion of launching the initiative.
During the meeting, Sheikh Zayed voiced happiness over distinguished cooperation among the UAE, Egypt and Jordan under the initiative, stressing dire need for such initiatives.
For his part, Madbouli said the Egyptian government will give priority for cooperation with the UAE within the framework of the initiative.
He expressed confidence that the initiative will be beneficial for people of the three countries, adding that the overture will be a model of economic cooperation and integration.
