Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat held a meeting on Tuesday 27/9/2022 with Tunisian Minister of Information and Communication Technologies Nizar Ben Néji.

The meeting tackled means of promoting cooperation between the two countries in the field of ICT.

Their meeting was held on the sidelines of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Plenipotentiary Conference 2022 (PP-22), in Bucharest, Romania.

The meeting also probed how to upgrade cooperation between the two countries in the field of e-signatures.

Talaat said Egypt is keen on building the capabilities of its youth, citing initiatives launched by his ministry to help young people get digital job opportunities.

The Tunisian minister, for his part, expressed his willingness to visit Egypt to get acquainted with the latest developments in the Egyptian ICT sector.
