Egypt tops list of winners in Arab Open Robotics Championship

Egypt topped the list of winners in the 2022 Arab Open Robotics Championship, which wrapped up on Monday 4/7/2022 in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh.

Egypt came first after winning seven trophies at the tournament that was held on July 1-4.

Jordan was ranked second with two trophies, ahead of third-placed Iraq, Libya and Qatar.

The event was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and the Egyptian Federation of Electronic Games.

The Arab Open Robotics Championship is the biggest regional robotics tournament that has been held in the Arab world since 2008.

The countries participating in the event included Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Oman, Yemen, Qatar, Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Iraq, Sudan, Lebanon and Libya.
