Cairo: The African Swimming Confederation (CANA) announced that Egypt will host the 16th Africa Aquatics Junior Swimming Championship from April 30 to May 3, 2025. The event is set to take place at the swimming complex of Cairo International Stadium.

According to State Information Service Egypt, twenty-four countries have confirmed their participation in the under-18 competition. This makes it one of the most competitive editions of the continental event. The Egyptian Swimming Federation, led by Yasser Idris, is working on coordinating preparations to meet all technical and organizational requirements for the tournament.
