Egypt and Saudi Arabia wrapped up on Sunday “Faisal-12” air drills which saw the participation of units from the Egyptian Air Force and the Royal Saudi Air Force in Saudi Arabia.
In its final stage, the drills included carrying out combat activities and conducting attack and defensive sorties that engage units of the multi-role aircraft owned by both sides.
The exercise aimed at achieving the maximum benefit from the participating elements to implement and conduct joint air operations.
Participating units showed high-level of military professionalism, outstanding performance, as well as efficient cooperation and coordination to handle joint missions.
A number of top military brass from both countries attended the final stage of the drills, which kicked off on May 31.
