The Health Ministry said Thursday night that 911 new coronavirus cases were detected in Egypt in the past 24 hours, upping the total number of cases to 334,751.
In a statement, Spokesman for the Health Ministry Khaled Megahed said 57 patients died from the virus over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 18,889.
As many as 763 patients were discharged from hospitals after receiving medical care, taking the number of recoveries to 281,325, the spokesman added.
