Riyadh: Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly highlighted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s recent speech at the Arab-Islamic Summit during a press conference. The summit took place in Riyadh on November 11.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Prime Minister Madbouly stated that President Sisi expressed Egypt’s firm rejection of Israeli aggression towards Palestine and Lebanon. He urged the international community to avoid applying double standards and called for decisive international intervention to halt what he described as unprecedented and unjustified aggression against the people of Egypt and Lebanon.
Madbouly emphasized Egypt’s commitment to its current policies and mentioned that there are still opportunities to resolve the issue to prevent further escalation of the crisis in the region. He also noted that President Sisi held meetings on the sidelines of the summit focusing on this matter.
