Egypt has received a number of mobile clinics as a gift from the US to help curb the spread of coronavirus.
The move comes as part of the distinguished relations between Cairo and Washington as the US has been keen on supporting a number of friendly countries to mitigate the impact of the pandemic.
During a ceremony to deliver two mobile clinics to Egypt, the director of Medical Services Department of the Egyptian Armed Forces asserted Cairo’s keenness on supporting cooperation with the US in all fields, extending thanks to the US government for its standing by the side of Egypt in the face of such human catastrophe.
The two clinics will join the Medical Services Department of the Armed Forces and will help the medical sector in Egypt.
Egypt had sent medical convoys including medicine and pharmaceutical supplies to the US during the climax of the coronavirus waves.
A number of Armed Forces commanders attended the ceremony.
