Egypt has reached agreements with Cyprus and Greece to launch fresh initiatives for youth of the three countries, said Minister of State for Emigration Soha Gendi.
During a press conference held on Monday, the minister said the agreements were reached during her meetings with Cyprus’s Presidential Commissioner for Humanitarian Issues and Overseas Cypriots Fotis Fotiou and Greek Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister for Diaspora Greeks Andreas Katsaniotis.
They also agreed on boosting tourism cooperation and holding tripartite meetings continuously in the coming period to probe issues of common interest.
The three-way talks took up proposals and new visions on strengthening cooperation with Cyprus and Greece, the minister added.
Fotiou and Katsaniotis voiced their delight with holding the tripartite meeting and expressed their keenness to foster cooperation with Egypt in different fields.
