Egyptian Ambassador in Doha Amr el Sherbini discussed on Sunday with Minister of Municipality Hamad ben Abdullah al Attiyah ways of pushing forward bilateral relations in the development and economic domains.

The two sides discussed necessary steps to boost agricultural cooperation as well as efforts to open new prospects for cooperation that serve the two countries and their joint interests.

The Foreign Ministry said Sherbini highlighted the big chances for boosting Egyptian-Qatari cooperation in light of the current momentum in relations between the two countries.

Tunisian president receives Egyptian diplomat

President Kais Saied received on Sunday Egyptian Ambassador to Tunisia Ihab Fahmi on the occasion of the end of his line of duty.

The Tunisian president lauded the distinguished level bilateral relations reached over the past four years.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said the diplomat thanked the Tunisian president for the attention and well treatment he received during his term.

He review
ed progress in relations between the two countries, citing the historic visit of the Tunisian president to Cairo in April 2021 and the convocation of the 17th session of joint higher committee that saw the signing of many memos of understanding and cooperation protocols.

The diplomat expounded Egypt’s efforts to end the Israeli aggression on Gaza and reach a ceasefire, underlining the importance of avoiding attempts to drag the region to a regional war.
