Egypt Participates in APPO’s Ministerial Meeting.


Yaoundé: Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi participated in the 46th session of the Council of Ministers of the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO), held in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting brought together representatives from various African nations to discuss the future of petroleum production on the continent. The session focused on collaborative strategies to enhance the development and sustainability of the petroleum sector in Africa.

Karim Badawi’s participation signifies Egypt’s ongoing commitment to strengthening ties with fellow African petroleum-producing countries. The discussions also addressed the need for technological advancements and investment opportunities to boost the region’s energy sector.
