Egypt on Sunday offered sincere condolences to the Philippines over the crash of a military plane in the country’s south that killed and wounded scores of people.

Egypt stands by the government and people of the Philippines in this painful loss, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement, also offering condolences to the families of the dead and wishing speedy recovery for those wounded.
