Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed with Niger’s Minister of Public Health, Population, and Social Affairs Garba Hakimi means to boost cooperation in the different fields of healthcare.
This came during both ministers’ meeting on the fringe of the Global Congress on Population, Health, and Human Development (PHDC24) held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi under the rubric “human development for sustainable future”.
The meeting reflects the depth of relations between Egypt and Niger.
Spokesman for the Health Ministry Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said that the meeting tackled cooperation between both countries in the fields of healthcare, prevention and family planning.
Talks also took up cooperation in the field of exchanging expertise via receiving medical delegations from Niger to stand on the Egyptian health system and benefit from the Egyptian expertise in the fields of scientific research and pharmaceutical and medical industries, the spokesman said.

h sides asserted the importance of exchanging expertise between the the two countries’ health providers to qualify and upgrade their skill in conformity with the latest protocols and modern scientific methods, spokesman said.
Meanwhile, Hakimi asserted his country’s keenness on cooperating with the Egyptian state due to its rich resources and highly-qualified human cadres.
