Egypt, Kuwait sign MoU to enhance civil aviation cooperation


Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh El-Hefny received the head of Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and his accompanying delegation at the ministry’s headquarters in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital to discuss strengthening cooperation in civil aviation.

Both sides praised the positive outcomes of the recent bilateral talks between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti civil aviation authorities. The discussions focused on enhancing economic cooperation, benefiting both nations’ airlines, and improving services for travelers.

El-Hefny emphasized the importance of such discussions to foster collaboration, supporting the growth of air traffic and tourism to Egypt’s key tourist destinations. He hailed the agreements reached during the negotiations as vital for both nations.

Sheikh Al-Sabah expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and commended the effective results of the meeting, which he said would be mutually beneficial. He also expressed hope for further c
ooperation and fruitful partnerships in the civil aviation sector between Kuwait and Egypt.
