Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expats Badr Abdelatty made on Wednesday 7/8/2024 a phone call to Kenyan Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Musalia Mudavadi to express Egypt’s aspiration that the coming period would witness the growth of bilateral economic partnership and joint investments.

That is through implementing strategic projects in the public-private partnership (PPP) system, precisely in the sectors of infrastructure, railways and pharmaceuticals.

The minister also added that the size of trade between the countries must be increased.

The phone call equally tackled updates in the Horn of Africa, Congo, Sudan, and South Sudan, as the two ministers presented the efforts deployed by their countries to settle crises, and achieve peace on the continent.

They also conferred over ties between Nile Basin countries.
