Egypt Keen on Enhancing Cooperation with African Countries


Cairo: Head of the Supreme Constitutional Court Boulos Fahmi said on Sunday 26/1/2025 the Egyptian State is open to African countries, institutionally speaking, and is keen on enhancing cooperation with African states in the different domains.



According to State Information Service Egypt, Fahmi stated that the eighth high-level meeting of Chiefs of Constitutional Courts, Supreme Courts, and African Constitutional Councils is part of the ongoing constitutional cooperation between Egypt and African nations. This meeting underscores Egypt’s commitment to strengthening ties with its African counterparts.



Fahmi made these remarks during a press conference where he detailed the program for the two-day meeting, which is set to begin on Monday. The event will see participation from representatives of constitutional courts and councils from 35 countries, along with five international organizations, highlighting the extensive engagement and collaboration anticipated over the course of the meeting.
